ColdFusion Applications and MySQL Database Development

Chances are, if you are looking at this page, you already either have a ColdFusion website that requires maintenance or have decided to have a new one built, but if not…

Coldfusion is a JAVA based web application server developed by Ben Forta in the mid 1990’s and sold to Macromedia in 2001, which was then acquired by Adobe Systems, Inc. in 2005. The JAVA programming language was developed by Sun Microsystems who recently purchased the MySQL database, and is soon to be acquired by Oracle pending stockholder and goverment approval. ColdFusion is used by most U.S. Government agencies as well as 75 of the Fortune Top 100 Companies.

ColdFusion is a very expensive web application server for any web hosting company to install so most do not. Hosting for these powerful web applications generally costs about $10.00 to $30.00 a month depending on their complexity.
